Originally known as Roy Barker Company, Barker Bus Company began with a fleet of approximately 15 vehicles and serviced schools located in Somerset County, N.J. Barker has a fleet of more than 300 school vehicles and services New Jersey school districts in Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Union and Essex counties. The facility is equipped with a classroom and certified instructors to enhance its driver training and safety programs. Headquartered in Bridgewater, N.J., the company has satellite operations in Berkeley Heights and East Amwell, N.J. Barker Bus Company has been transporting children to and from school and school-related activities since 1955.
