History
The Englewood Woman's Club is a non profit non-sectarian organization that works to serve and contribute to needs on the local, state and national level. The club annually contributes to scholarships for local woman. In addition to the club's meetings and activities, the building is rented out for events in order to maintain the historic building and to fund its many charities. The Woman's Club was organized in 1895. The building was the carriagehouse of the first mayor of Englewood. Now the Carriagehouse has become a favorite of brides in New Jersey, who are looking for a unique venue for both a ceremony and a small wedding in New Jersey.
