Ms. Rubin capitalized on her entrepreneurial spirit and forward thinking by opening Adrea Rubin Marketing, Inc. in 1990. As a testimonial to her abilities, 100% of her client base continued to utilize her list brokerage services in the new venture. At present, the average tenure of the firm's client base is in excess of 20 years. Recognizing the changes that would affect the future of the list business, Ms. Rubin merged the concept of traditional list brokerage with the non-traditional use of compiled data. As a result of her vast knowledge of the insurance industry, Adrea applied this concept of utilizing psychographic and demographic data to counteract the effects of the shrinking traditional list universe.
