A Southampton Village park on Lake Agawam features a World War I memorial, World War II and Korean War memorials, playground and fountain. It is a popular destination for picnics in the spring and summer, and in the winter the village has experimented with placing an outdoor ice skating rink at the park. The village's annual Memorial Day parade ends at Agawam Park with a ceremony honoring veterans and those who gave their lives defending the country. Agawam also plays host to Shakespeare in the Park in the summer.
