The YMCA of Greater Syracuse is a Christian community services organization offering a wide range of physical and social activities for individuals of all ages. Based in Fayetteville, N.Y., the organization serves communities throughout the Onondaga County and the surrounding areas of Central New York. It offers a comprehensive line of aquatic activities, including swim lessons at different age/ability levels, lap swim, open/recreation swimming and water fitness/therapy. The YMCA of Greater Syracuse also features a fully-equipped visual arts studio, offering courses in pottery, painting, drawing and more. Its programs for teenagers include youth development activities, after school clubs, strength-training, sports, camping, tutoring and mentoring, leadership groups, community service projects and other recreational activities.
