C. V. Starr Intermediate School, located in Brewster, N.Y., is governed by the Brewster Central School District. It offers a curriculum for students in grades four and five and has enrollment of more than 550 students. The school offers a wide range of regular academic subjects and also offers instrumental music lessons, before and after school enrichment workshops, a before-school chorus programs and intramurals. It provides a variety of support services ranging from counseling to direct special education teacher support within a classroom. The Intermediate School is fully networked with a T1 line and Internet and e-mail access. It has more than 80 computers in the building and every classroom has over two computers available to its students. In addition, C. V. Starr Intermediate School has purchased video conferencing equipment that helps the students to have virtual tours around the world.
