The electronics segment designs and manufactures electronic components, panels and subsystems for military aircrafts, shipboards, land-based programs and government applications. The company s subsidiary, Orbit Instrument, has more than 45 years of experience in designing and engineering keyboards and keypads for air traffic control towers, shipboards, and aircraft and helicopter applications. Its subsidiary, Behlman Electronics, manufactures power units, analytical equipment, frequency converters, power supplies for gas and oil exploration, and electronic power conversion devices for measurement and display. It has various clients, including United States military, industrial utilities and transportation companies. The company also provides custom integrated keyboards, illuminated data entry devices and display products through its subsidiary, Tulip Development Laboratory, acquired in 2005. Orbit International Corporation has production facilities in New York and Pennsylvania.
