Dr. Krause began her medical career in primary care internal medicine at Baltimore City Hospital, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, but quickly realized that her true interest lay in women's health. After completing 2 years of her residency, she moved to New York and completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital where she is a Clinical Assistant Professor. She spent 9 years practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology before returning to Mount Sinai full-time to serve as the Director of Gynecology at Mount Sinai's Women's Health Program. While there, she participated in several research studies focused on osteoporosis and breast cancer. In 2002, she returned to private practice, opening her current office in New York City's Upper East Side.
