Daytop is a therapeutic community that provides a range of services for individuals with substance abuse problems. It offers separate and individualized programs for adolescents, adults and family members. The center specializes in physical health and educational services. Daytop has been providing drug-free counseling solutions since 1963. It also provides residential services and conducts orientation seminars. The center organizes individual and group counseling sessions. Daytop additionally offers outpatient and vocational education programs and operates a Daytop Preparatory School. It has a medical division that provides primary medical care and disease prevention solutions. Daytop also operates ambulatory and outreach centers.
