History
Founded in Venice Beach and designed at our studio in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, GLCO is influenced and inspired by the people, places, and stories of California. Each design incorporates the easy-going philosophy of California culture and is stamped with VC/CA 90291 as a reminder of our Venice roots. GLCO is dedicated to reinvention. We look at classic shapes through a modern lens and redefine iconic silhouettes with contemporary fashions. Trendless and timeless, they never go out of style. For many of our styles we draw inspiration from the movies, music, art and fashion of our formative years. We also mix the spirit of the time with materials, colors, and details from past eras and what we believe eyewear will look like in the future.
Specialties
GLCO uses the most exclusive, highest quality materials from the best suppliers in the industry who have hundreds of years of experience. All of our frames are designed at our studio in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. Our Mulberry store has a full optical laboratory, onsite, and can handle same day Rx lens installs along with dip-dyed frame and lens customizations.
