HistoryF. Richard Hurley earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Pace University and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He was admitted to the New York State Bar on December 5, 1990, to the United States Eastern and Southern District Courts, December 27, 1990, the Bar of Washington D.C. February 27, 1992 and the United States Supreme Court on April 14, 1993. Mr. Hurley has been in private practice handling complicated matters in criminal and civil law since April, 1994. While serving the public at the Queens District Attorney's office for over three years, he supervised other attorneys and received his initial trial experience. The Board of Education offered Mr. Hurley a position as Assistant Counsel to the Chancellor.
