Huntington Intermediate School is affiliated with the Huntington School District. It provides a comprehensive academic curriculum that includes various subjects, such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, social studies and physical education. It also offers free Mandarin Chinese classes after school for two days in a week and is financially supported from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York. Huntington Intermediate School provides character educational program that is designed to assist students in their social and emotional development. Its extracurricular activities include annual field trips and music. Its athletic activities include soccer, baseball, softball, cross country, wrestling and volleyball. The school was awarded the Excellence in Education from the state of New York. Huntington Intermediate School is located in Huntington Station, N.Y.
