The Marist Brothers Center at Esopus Mid-Hudson Valley Camp is a registered 501(c)(3) organization located in Esopus, NY. With over 160 acres of beautiful landscape on the Hudson River, the Center offers retreat and camp programs that embody the Marist values of welcome, acceptance, joyful service, community, simplicity, and humility. Each year, thousands of individuals participate in self-exploratory retreats, memorable camps, and fulfilling service work, fostering spirituality, community, and support for others.
The Center's Mid-Hudson Valley Camps, which started in the 1970s, have grown into nine week-long camps serving children and adults with disabilities, deaf children, children living with cancer, and inner-city students. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the camps provide a unifying atmosphere of respect, joy, and boundless love, fulfilling the dream of the Marist Brothers' founder, St. Marcellin Champagnat. In addition to retreats and camps, the Center offers customizable programming, outdoor adventure activities, and a volunteer program that provides individuals with opportunities for personal growth and development in hospitality, community, and youth ministry.
