Dr. Salas-Whalen has deep experience in the practice of endocrinology in the outpatient, inpatient and research setting. She founded New York Endocrinology because she wanted to practice results-driven medicine her own way, starting with getting to know the patient and understanding his or her needs on a deep level. Most endocrinological conditions require physician-patient teamwork, which is the key building block of her practice.

Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen is a triple board-certified endocrinologist treating all endocrine conditions such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, disorders of menopause, andropause, pituitary disorders and adrenal disorders. Dr. Salas-Whalen has particular expertise and a deep passion for managing weight loss and obesity.
