Play & Say Pediatric Therapy Services is a pediatric therapy and academic enrichment center founded by co-directors Lisa M. Connors & Marguerite Casale. The facility boasts two sensory gyms, a Montessori-style classroom, and individual therapy rooms. Initially a small practice with two therapists, Play & Say has blossomed into a multi-disciplinary practice providing a wide range of pediatric therapy services.
With faculty members holding professional licenses in various fields including Early Childhood Education, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology, Play & Say offers therapeutic and academic enrichment services for children from infancy onwards. Programs at Play & Say are designed to be socially relevant, intellectually stimulating, and personally significant for children and their families.
At Play & Say, the philosophy revolves around providing a positive and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to actively participate in the learning process. Collaboration between teachers, therapists, children, and families is emphasized, with individualized plans developed to meet specific goals. The center places importance on family involvement for the transfer and application of learned skills, and encourages socialization with peers as a means of skill development.
