Avon High School offers a range of academic programs that includes more than 10 advanced placement courses. It is a coeducational institution that serves students in grades nine through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, social studies, science, mathematics, technology and occupational education, fine arts, physical education and foreign languages. It offers a range of students clubs and organizations, including a student council, the National Honor Society, braves builders group, principal cabinet, peer mentors, and language, drama and communications clubs. The school provides opportunities for its students to participate in a variety of sports, such as football, wrestling, track, soccer, cross country and basketball. The high school is a part of Avon Central Schools and is located in Avon, N.Y.
