Sachem High School East is one of the newest building additions to the Sachem Central School District. The result of a four-year, district-wide reconfiguration effort, the 403,000 square foot Sachem East opened its doors to students in September 2004. One of two high schools in Sachem, the current student enrollment is in excess of 2,600 students and approximately 300 fulltime staffers.
