Augusta High School is accredited by North Central Association and the state of Kansas. The school offers classes from grades nine through 12, and serves more than 650 students. Augusta High School offers subjects, such as English, literature, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, biology, chemistry, physics, earth and environmental science, family and consumer science, computer and industrial technologies, and physical education. The school offers more then 30 activity clubs, including art, music, drama, language, and has a band. Its library offers a wide collection of books, such as fiction, nonfiction, science and technology. Augusta High School s athletic activities include softball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf, tennis, wrestling, and track and field. The school also has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities, such as cultural activities and community based health care, and fund-raising programs.
