Established in 1964, the Score Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation and growth of small businesses nationwide. Based in Washington, D.C., the association is composed of nearly 10,500 volunteer business mentors, both working and retired, who counsel businesses from 389 chapter offices throughout the country. The Score Association offers workshops, face-to-face, cyber and telephone counseling to its member companies. Its other capabilities include preparing marketing plans, providing assessments and recommendations to several small businesses.
