Prospect Child and Family Center has been operational for more than 45 years. Located in Queensbury, N.Y., it is one of the leading diagnostic and treatment centers in the United States. A fully accredited educational facility, it offers special services for at-risk youth and corrective solutions for autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury, mental illnesses, cerebral palsy and neurological disorders. The center also offers outreach programs, crisis intervention, service coordination, respite and integrated programs, evaluation, educational programs, family support services, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient rehabilitation, physical, speech, language and occupational therapies and employment opportunities. Formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of Glens Falls, it serves more than 1,000 individuals and employs several personnel, including teaching assistants, counselors, therapists, pathologists and residential direct care, rehabilitation and respite workers.
