Sushi Mambo is a Japanese and Latin fusion sushi restaurant located in New York and run by Chef Mitsuhisa Nishio who emigrated from the Dominican Republic. The menu was created to be a fusion of Caribbean cuisine and traditional Japanese cuisine. Sushi Mambo has appetizers available that range from edamame to tuna tataki and features a chef selection called Mount Fuji, which contains steak, sweet plantain, avocado salad and pico de gallo. The menu at Sushi Mambo offers an impressive list of various sushi rolls broken into two sections: fusion rolls and traditional rolls. Main course options available are salmon, Japanese curry shrimp and Dominican fried rice.
