Utica Cutlery Company was formed by a group of Utica businessmen in 1910, and opened their plant at 820 Noyes Street in Utica, N.Y., where they are still located today. The first products produced by Utica were pocketknives, which remain the company s primary product. Utica Cutlery also produces hunting knives, tableware, cookware, bakeware and flatware. The company operates through three divisions: Utica Stainless, Walco Stainless and Kutmaster. Walco is an independent division that sells to the hotel/restaurant Industry. KutMaster is a leading manufacturer of knives and specialty tools for outdoor and household use.
