I told that was all that could be done at that time. 30 years later while attending massage therapy school I was enlightened to the fact that the jaw is controlled and suspended by muscle. I've since taken and mastered numerous massage therapy techniques (Deep Tissue, Moyfascial Release, Cranial Sacral, TMJ Muscle).
