Founded in September 1945 in Lexington, NC, Turlington and Company, L.L.P. began as a small, independent affiliate of the Frank P. Buck Company. Established by W.H. Turlington, who held North Carolina CPA Certificate #619, the firm quickly grew, focusing on tax preparation and consulting. By 1955, the firm expanded its services to include auditing and accounting, and adopted the name Turlington and Company, L.L.P.
