Founded in 1934, Metrolina Association for the Blind is a private North Carolina nonprofit agency that provides services to blind and visually impaired people. Based in Charlotte, N.C., the agency provides personal adjustment and rehabilitation services, Braille and large print services. Its personal adjustment and rehabilitation services includes case management, counseling, low vision, vision rehabilitation therapy, orientation and mobility, among others. Accessible Braille services comprises textbook mastering and copy services, statement rendering services and additional transcription services.
