NCHE (North Carolinians for Home Education) is a statewide organization in North Carolina that supports and advocates for home education. With a vision of flourishing families and thriving generations, NCHE aims to provide parents with the confidence and joy to homeschool their children by protecting their rights, equipping them with information and encouragement, and connecting them with other homeschooling families and groups across the state.
Driven by core values such as parental authority, the effectiveness of home education, service to all homeschool families, and biblical Christianity, NCHE is governed by a board of directors and relies on the dedication of volunteers to accomplish its ministry. Dividing the state into nine regions, NCHE offers regional liaisons to assist families in finding resources and support in their area. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, NCHE welcomes membership to provide homeschoolers with the best information, resources, mentoring, opportunities, and discounts, helping them homeschool with confidence and joy.
