History
When I opened my doors more than twenty years ago, I had already earned black belts and held rank in the following arts: Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, and Jujitsu. After these achievements in the leading styles of martial arts, in 1989 I began a new challenge: Muay Thai (Thai Boxing). My goal then, as it is for my students now, was to gain Strength and Agility, to display Courage and Determination, and to show a willingness to be disciplined. My first instructor was Surachai Sirisute (Chai). After training with Chai in the U.S., I then traveled to Asia. Once in Thailand, I realized how much there was for me to learn. I was eager to train and learn my chosen martial art in the place where it originated. Since then I have traveled and trained in Thailand on a regular basis in order to be able to offer to my students the best techniques and training. And now proud to announce certified by Baja Gracie under Joe Hurst for superior Jiu-Jitsu accreditation. Ajarn Rick Davis
