Haywood Vocational Opportunities, located in Waynesville, N.C., is a nonprofit organization that offers educational programs and employment training to physically challenged individuals. The center offers various services, such as supported placement, prevocational classes, and vocation training and evaluation. The organization has departments that include the vocational rehabilitation, residential services, the Smoky Mountain Center, employment security commission and job link center, Haywood County Department of Social Services, private rehabilitation agencies and schools.
