Garfield Heights City Hall is comprised of various departments, including economic development, recreation, building, service, police, fire and law. It includes the office of the city mayor. The city hall houses a finance department that is responsible for creating budgets and reports, issuing purchase orders, processing employee payrolls, and maintaining birth and death certificates. Garfield Heights City Hall is also the location for the city s fire department that provides firefighting and emergency medical services, as well as conducts fire safety inspections and public education classes.
