Miller Consolidated Industries, based in Dayton, Ohio, offers a range of services to clients. Its steel service center is a more than 40,000-square-foot warehouse that is stocked with more than 2 million pounds of carbon, alloy and specialty tool steel. It provides cutting, burning and grinding services for the sizes and grades specified by clients. The company s metallurgical services division is a heat treating facility with capabilities qualified and certified to General Electric, Ford, Honda and General Motors specifications. Its facilities include vacuum furnaces and super ALLCASE furnaces for hardening, carburizing and carbon nitriding. The furnaces are also complimented by copper brazing belt furnaces, induction heating units and an ion nitriding furnace. Miller Consolidated Industries also operates a metal finishing facility and metallurgical and environmental testing laboratory.
