Established in 1984, the company started as Holmes Siding Contractors and was primarily an installer of siding products. Holmes Siding continued to grow, as did their stock of material in the warehouse. In 1990, MRV was formed to sell the same materials that Holmes Siding was installing. Over the years, MRV has advertised locally and sold retail to builders, lumberyards, contractors, and individual homeowners.
