Founded in 1847, Otterbein College is a private, independent, coeducational college that sponsors traditional and continuing education programs for liberal arts and professional education at baccalaureate and master's levels. The college includes more than 140-acre campus that houses a library, museum, learning resource facility, television studio, art galleries, theatres, and sports and recreation centers. Otterbein College also offers bachelor s degrees in fine arts, music education and science. The college provides liberal studies in business administration, leadership, organizational communication and human resources management. It additionally encourages students to take part in a range of athletic activities, including volleyball, football, soccer, golf, cross-country and tennis.
