The American Concrete Pumping Association s Operator Certification Program is the only industry-recognized certification program for testing concrete pumping practices. The association promotes concrete pumping as the choice method of placing concrete. It educates the concrete pumping industry on safe concrete pumping procedures. Members of the association include owners of concrete pumps, manufacturers of concrete pumps, and distributors of concrete pumps and accessories. The association gets its messages to contractors throughout the United States, and around the world, through a magazine that circulates to contractors and ready-mix suppliers. It also has high visibility at the concrete industry's biggest trade shows. Located in Lewis Center, Ohio, the American Concrete Pumping Association was founded in 1974.
