Established in 1964, Miami Valley Child Development Centers is a private nonprofit corporation that provides Head Start programs for children up to the age of 5. The organization serves more than 2,500 children in various counties in Ohio. Miami Valley Child Development Centers assists children to prepare for school education and families by teaching parenting skills. It also provides medical, dental, mental health and nutritional care, including immunizations, dental exams and screenings for health, speech and hearing. The organization offers a variety of academic, mental, physical and spiritual development opportunities to children. Miami Valley Child Development Centers additionally provides training and case management services.
