Back Porch Pitbulls started off with two dogs that took months of searching to find exactly what we wanted. We knew that we had two winning pups when we put the deposit down on Bella (female) and Blue (male). Blue was 100% Razors Edge and he was a handsome dog. I got his ears cropped real low and they looked awesome on his well proportioned head. Bella was Watchdog and Greyline so she was pretty gamey. i just knew that these two dogs would have some beautiful off spring. i couldn't take Blue anywhere without somebody stopping me to tell me how beautiful he was. Blue was a calender pit bull. i had my first litter out of Blue and Bella in 2010 and i kept one male. i named him Rhino he was a huge puppy. Rhino grew to be 95 pounds at 1 year old he was a monster. Once i saw the demand for pit bulls and that i had some awesome dogs istarted buying up dogs. now we have expanded to 12 dogs and 5-10 litters a year. Back Porch Pitbulls is what the American Pit Bull is all about loyality.

Not only are our pit bulls sport dogs, they are members of our family that will protect our home to the last breath. Each and everyone of our pit bulls has a special place on our yard. We are not a fad breeder meaning, we don't breed to keep up with the market. If you are looking for a true to breed American Pit Bull you have come to the right place. If you haven't noticed the American Pit Bull is slowly disappearring. With the sudden Infatuation in low to the ground, wide chested bullies the American Pit Bull we love is being bred out of the species. Here at Back Porch Pitbulls we consider this a flaw in the gene and will have no part in destroying the wonderful chacteristics of the American PitBull.
