Oklahoma Youth Center is a publicly funded program that is operated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. It offers welfare and developmental services for boys and girls under age 18 and their families. It is also offers community-based services for mental health care. It offers support programs for physical, intellectual and emotional development of children. It supports a wide range of services for children with serious emotional disturbance and offers various publicly funded, community-based programs for intervention, assessment and outpatient counseling. Oklahoma Youth Center offers acute care program that offers short-term rehabilitation services to children. It is determined by individual child's symptoms, needs and treatment progress.
