Pit Master and Owner of Bark City BBQ, Michael Keskin, born and raised in Virginia, had a desire to travel and taste all the country has to offer. So he did. On his road trip, he stopped and experienced the south's BBQ creations, while listening to the blues and making lifelong memories with great friends. He highly recommends you go on a BBQ food tour at some point in your life. Once landing in Portland, he immediately fell in love with the city and knew he could build a career here. He has had the opportunity to work in award winning establishments, corporate settings, chef-driven kitchens and everything in between. After 18 plus years in the industry, Keskin loves being able to bring his love and passion for BBQ to your plate.

Bark City BBQ is a food cart in SE Portland serving a variety of expertly smoked meats on all natural, local Oregon Oak. You will also find classic southern sides, delicious milkshakes and a seasonal pit master influenced menu.
