History
We Are in Business From 1998... Our dream to feed people quality food, for less, we opened India Tandoori Oven in 1998. People suggested we should keep meat, so we listened. We were not happy with keeping meat, as it afflicted with our dream. We sold India Tandoori Oven in 1999, and opened India Chaat House in 2000. In 2008 the business was split into two, father and son due to a divorce. My lovely father gave me the new cart, Bombay Chaat House right next door. In 2011, India Chaat house was struggling and was offered to me for $15,000. I (Harvey Singh) picked up a loan and took up on that offer. We now own both names, India Chaat House & Bombay Chaat House. We even got awarded the best food cart of the year by Willamette week, published in other newspapers such The Oregonian, CNN News, Channel 8 News, etc. We were featured in the top 3 picks of all time by the Cooking Channel. Our goal is still the same. feed people healthy food, for an affordable price.
Specialties
Our goal is to give eveyone great food for less as possible. We know how hard the living is starting to become in Oregon. Let us serve you food that will keep you healthy and taste like back home. Our food is all Vegetarian. Most of our curry dishes are Vegan, and others can be made vegan. The lunch special is most famous for only $7.50. Please note, the lunch Special is served mild, ask for a free hot sauce if you like. We make the hot sauce so it blends with the curry well. All our curries can also be made to taste Mild, Medium, or spicy hot. Rather then us say how good the food is to talk the talk, we would rather you come try it for yourself and let the food speak for it's self. Thank You
