Founded in 1933, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is a nonprofit corporation that provides outdoor experiences to individuals with disabilities and educational opportunities for students pursuing human service careers. It works in partnership with the Portland State University's special education department that provides planning and personnel support services. It offers a wide of recreational activities, such as camping, climbing, fishing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, mushrooming and sightseeing. It also provides snow and water activities to its members. In addition, it has an online store that stocks a variety of merchandise, including baseball caps, sweatshirts, hats and other clothing items. Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is located in Portland, Ore.
