Morris Kreitz & Sons, founded in 1912, quickly gained a reputation as a moving company. As the Pennsylvania area textile industry declined in the mid 1900's, the company began servicing of the equipment and then further to service all types of industry mostly in the Pennsylvania area. The company also has nationwide affiliations, having worked in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, D.C. and across the country. The largest single project Morris Kreitz & Sons ever undertook was a negotiated cost plus contract with Carpenter Technology for the equipment installation and mechanical piping for their mill project. Morris Krietz & Sons have been Berks County's Leading millwright, rigging and machinery moving company for more than 90 years.
