Community Educational Centers provides child care and parenting services, as well as parent education and family support programs. It was established by Family Resource Centers, which has been providing child care and parenting services since 1977. Community Educational Centers offers various after-school and summer programs for children up to 5 years of age. Its campus includes outdoor playgrounds, swimming facilities, and classrooms and homerooms for infants, toddlers and preschool children. The center offers a developmental program to develop physical, mental, emotional and social skills of children ages 3 months to 5 years. In addition, it provides instruction in music, computers and art. Its parenting program offers classes for toddlers; workshops; health and safety tips for babies; and sibling preparation classes.
