History
First, let me introduce myself and my company. My name is James Tice and my company is Pipe Dreams. Pipe Dreams is a Converter and Exhaust Warehouse/SuperStore. Let me start with a little history about me. I am a native, born in in 1965. I went to and graduated from New England Tech with a BA in Business. I have been in the auto parts business in for 25 years. I started my parts career at Richco Auto Parts in in 1984. In 1997, after being laid off, I found my way to Pep Boys in West Warwick and was reunited with the guy who trained me in this business and whom I have much respect for, Rick Ventrone. My years at Pep Boys taught me much about the retail side of this business and it was experience I will never forget. In 2001 I was afforded the opportunity to get in on a new wholesale chain opening and managing my own store from the ground up and hesitantly took the risk. That was at Parts Warehouse Inc and PWI was where I laid the foundation for what has now become Pipe Dreams.
Specialties
We are a catalytic converter and exhaust warehouse with 5000 sq ft of inventory to have the exhaust parts your car needs. We deal with every major catalytic converter company in the US. We have exhaust for both domestic and import vehicles. We also have cat back performance exhaust for most light trucks. We carry many exhaust repair kits as well as oxygen sensors.
