The Schubert Male Chorus, established in 1883, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the love of Glee Club singing through music education and entertainment. Comprised of men who share a passion for singing, the chorus strives for excellence in performance to delight audiences, while fostering camaraderie and advancing an appreciation for choral music.
With rehearsals held on Monday evenings from September to May, the Schubert Male Chorus welcomes new members and offers a wide variety of concerts and community events. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, donations to the chorus are tax-deductible, supporting their mission to spread the joy of Glee Club singing and contribute to the cultural fabric of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
