Baptist International Missions is a faith-based mission agency that is located in Harrison, Tenn. It has an operating budget of more than $1 million that is channeled from over 8,000 local churches and nearly 1,000 missionaries that serve in nearly 85 countries throughout the world. The agency has established approximately 3,000 churches that operate youth camps and day and Bible schools and colleges in various parts of the world. Baptist International Missions also offers its missionary candidates group retirement, life, health and cancer insurance programs, as well as assistance with securing loans and vehicles and income tax preparation and aid services. Its CLAIM ministry allows laymen to participate as short-term missionaries. The CLAIM ministry coordinates with the agency s mission trips and projects. Baptist International Missions additionally provides a variety of outreach services and programs for people living in remote areas.
