Hamilton Plastics began operation in 1986 with an extruder and a bag machine. In 1991, the company built a new, state-of-the-art, award-winning plant and office facility on 5-acres of land to accommodate future expansion. The company continued to expand in the 1990s, and purchased an additional 5-acres in 1999. It added a research and testing facility, as well as a health club for its employees. In 2003, Hamilton Plastics acquired 6-acres land, adding a 40,000-square-foot building, and 400-foot additional rail access totaling to 800-feet. With a sister plant in Phoenix, Hamilton Plastics provides efficient customer service nationwide, as well as to its international clients. Hamilton Plastics is headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn.
