Alamo Service Connection, a program operated by the Alamo Area Council of Governments, maintains a network of care services for senior citizens and people with disabilities. The program includes Internet-based resources for individuals with various disabilities throughout Bexar County in Texas. It partners with Bexar Area Agency on Aging, San Antonio Food Bank, San Antonio Independent Living Services, and the Texas Health & Human Services Commission. The program features a variety of abuse and fall prevention services. It includes information on several health-related topics, such as medical tests and medications. Alamo Service Connection additionally administers the Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program.
