Houston Area Services From the initial application to after-placement support, Spaulding for Children works very closely with the adoptive family to determine the needs of the child to be adopted and the family's ability to meet those needs. To prepare the family for its new member (or members), the agency shares videos, pictures and histories of the child, provides adoption preparation classes, and offers opportunities to network with other adoptive families and support groups.
