After a transitional year program and a general surgery residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, a major teaching affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, Dr. Rincon participated in a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, and a laparoscopic and bariatric surgery fellowship at the WISH Center in Downers Grove, Illinois, and Renton, Washington.Dr. Rincon currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Southwest General Hospital and the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital, both in San Antonio. He also serves on several committees at Baptist Medical Center, also in San Antonio.Board certified by the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Rincon is also an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.
