Specialties
Lowell T. Cage and Joseph M. Hill have each served on the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Southern District of Texas for more than 35 years. As bankruptcy trustees, Lowell T. Cage and Joseph M. Hill are in the position of intimately understanding the workings of the various Bankruptcy Courts and other bankruptcy trustees and are known not only to the Bankruptcy Courts but also to other bankruptcy counsel in Harris County and throughout the state. Cage, Hill & Niehaus, L.L.P. also represents debtors in bankruptcies including Chapter 7 liquidation cases and Chapter 11 reorganization cases as well as creditors and creditor groups seeking to protect and enforce their rights in such cases. As a result the firm has extensive experience in handling all aspects of business and commercial bankruptcies. Joseph M. Hill is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the American Board of Certification; and Charles E. Long is Board Certified in Consumer and Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
