History
Both of Candy's grandmothers were accomplished seamstresses, making clothing, linens & draperies for their family & friends for over 60 years. They both made sure to pass their skills on to their granddaughter. Candy spent the many summers of her youth learning the craft. Big Granny was especially demanding. If the garment was not perfect Candy was made to take all the seams out and start over until the garment met Big Granny's high standards. As upsetting as this was for a child it instilled the character and the attitude that Candy sews with today. There is a big difference between a seamstress who can simply perform an alteration for you and an experienced, skilled and professional tailor who can guide you on how a garment should fit your body. Candy will always deliver a garment that meets Big Granny's standards.
